Ever since I was confronted by the ungainly sight of the new Ferrari F12, i’ve been trying to remember just what that rear end reminds me of…and then all of a sudden, i remembered. It looks like a Uterus with bilateral fallopian tubes and ovaries!!
The Ferrari version has very wide fallopian tubes, and unnaturally round ovaries; however the general architecture is simply uncanny. Did you think nobody would notice, Pininfarina?

But you are rigth, I have doubts about the rear treatment too. Wouldn’t it have been nice when the shape around the rear lights did not jump to the floor in the middle. But overall, I think this is the third sexy Ferrari in a row, following the 458 and FF. I didn’t like the Ferrari’s of the last few decades (599, 612, 430, 360, F50, Enzo) at all.

Well, it has been known that Pininfarina design has usually been based on a shape of a body of a beautiful woman. And that’s definitely the case with 288 GTO, Testarossa, 348, 355, 550 Maranello. Today, it seems that woman’s body is also an inspiration, but since they can’t get attention in a soft porn way, they go hardcore and model the rear end after uterus… So, design is still based on a woman, it just getting more and more vulgar these days, just like the art and everything around is getting more and more vulgar… Sad thing happening.
